In a heartwarming moment, and on the sidelines of the ongoing preparations for the crucial match against Tanzania, the Moroccan national football team welcomed a group of children from the security forces, particularly the children of police officers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, during a training session held at the Mohammed VI Football Academy.

This visit, initiated through a collaboration between the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Social Works of National Security Employees and one of the global sponsors of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, allowed the children to closely observe the daily training sessions of the Atlas Lions and interact with the players, who took the time to sign special memorabilia and present symbolic gifts that brought joy to their hearts.

This gesture is not the first of its kind during the continental tournament taking place in the Kingdom’s stadiums. Previously, a group of children from the security forces was selected to accompany the players of both the Moroccan and Comorian national teams during the opening match, which took place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

This initiative reflects recognition of the crucial role played by the national security services in ensuring the safety and security of various matches and events during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, through continuous field mobilization aimed at providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere for participating teams and fans coming from across the African continent.
