The Royal Gendarmerie continues its intensive search for two students who went missing due to the strong floods that hit the Fzou Valley in the municipality of Missisi in the Tinghir region, amid tough weather conditions and rugged terrain.
Informed sources indicated that the search operations are being carried out with a full mobilization of Gendarmerie personnel, utilizing a helicopter from the General Command and five drones equipped with advanced surveillance technology to cover the difficult paths and areas that are hard to access.
Ground and aerial teams are working for long hours in a race against time, hoping to find the missing students, while gradually expanding the search area along the riverbanks and in the nearby regions, based on continuously updated field data.
This intense mobilization is part of the Royal Gendarmerie’s efforts to ensure rapid and effective intervention in emergencies related to harsh weather conditions, particularly in mountainous and remote areas.
