The Moroccan national team will face Tanzania in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations, following the latter’s draw with Tunisia, with both teams scoring one goal each in their match on Tuesday evening, which was part of the third round of the group stage.
Tanzania secured third place in Group C with only two points, earned from draws against Uganda and Tunisia, without any wins, while Nigeria topped the group with a perfect score of nine points, followed by Tunisia with four points.
In contrast, the Moroccan team led Group A with seven points, collected from two wins against Comoros (2-0) and Zambia (3-0), along with a draw against Mali (0-0).
The match between Morocco and Tanzania will take place next Sunday at 5 PM, at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
