Water resources in various dams across the country have seen a significant increase in the past 24 hours, particularly in northern Morocco, with varying levels of water influx positively impacting the filling rates of several dams, according to data from the “Lalla Fatma Zohra” platform.

In the Larache province, the Wad el Makhazin dam recorded the highest increase in water resources, amounting to 12.1 million cubic meters, raising its filling rate to 76.5%, thereby enhancing the water stock at this vital dam.

In the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah dam experienced an increase of 6.3 million cubic meters in water resources, bringing its filling rate to 79.7%, reflecting a continuously improving water situation.

Also in the Larache province, the Dar Kharoufa dam noted an increase of 5.9 million cubic meters, reaching a filling rate of 14.4%.

In the Tetouan province, the Sharif Idrissi dam saw an increase of 4.9 million cubic meters, raising its filling rate to 94.5%.

In the Tangier-Assilah region, the Ibn Batouta dam recorded an increase in water influx of 3.3 million cubic meters, with a filling rate reaching 60.7%.

In Tetouan, the Kharoub dam noted an increase of 2.7 million cubic meters, achieving a filling rate of 55.1%.

These figures reflect the ongoing improvement in water resources across various dams, contributing to the support of the water stock and enhancing the water situation in different regions.
