The countdown has begun… The schedule for the first group matches of the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament.

In less than a week, global fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, beginning on December 21. The eyes of Moroccans are on Group A, where the national team is alongside Mali, Zambia, and Comoros.

The Moroccan national team enters this continental tournament as one of the favorites to win the top spot in this group, boasting a roster of standout players from various European and African leagues. Additionally, the home advantage and support from the crowd will not only serve as motivation but also create significant pressure on the national players, who are required to exhibit tactical discipline and offensive effectiveness to prevent any surprises.

On the other hand, Mali stands out as the main contender for Morocco in the group, possessing a disciplined team with considerable physical and attacking capabilities, alongside players active in European leagues. We must not forget Zambia, known for creating surprises in many football tournaments. In turn, Comoros enters the competition with ambitions to cause an upset in this group, and its performance in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations is a testament to its ability to compete with the best teams after successfully reaching the Round of 16 at the expense of Ghana.

Morocco vs. Comoros at 8 PM at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Monday, December 22:
Mali vs. Zambia at 3 PM at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.

Friday, December 26:
Morocco vs. Mali at 9 PM at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Zambia vs. Comoros at 6:30 PM at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.

Monday, December 29:
Zambia vs. Morocco at 8 PM at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Comoros vs. Mali at 8 PM at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.
