Morocco makes a significant presence at the “FIFA eWorld Cup” finals in Saudi Arabia
The competitions for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2025 kicked off yesterday, Wednesday, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where it will run until December 19. The event has attracted the strongest global teams, including the Moroccan national team, which is participating with its full roster.
Morocco is taking part in all three tournaments scheduled for this event, participating in the “Rocket League” competition from December 15 to 19, alongside the “Console” and “Mobile Football” competitions taking place from December 10 to 13. This positions Morocco among a select few countries entering the finals with complete teams.
The draw has placed the Moroccan team face to face with established powers in esports, including Brazil, Japan, and France, as well as the host Saudi team, which holds the “Rocket League” title from the last edition.
This wide participation reflects Morocco’s growing presence in the esports arena, particularly during a time when this field is experiencing notable dynamics within the Kingdom, backed by the efforts of youth and effective partnerships seeking to establish a foothold in the global digital gaming market.
These finals also represent a promising economic space for local and regional companies interested in the gaming industry. It provides an opportunity for content creators and innovators to showcase their work to a broad international audience, on one of the world’s premier platforms dedicated to esports.
