Macron Explores Cooperation Opportunities in Abu Dhabi

Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with French President Emmanuel Macron today, Sunday, during his business visit to Abu Dhabi. They discussed the historical and strategic relations between the two countries.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed welcomed the French president at the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi, exchanging congratulations on the approaching New Year and wishing both countries and their peoples continued progress and prosperity.

During the meeting, both sides explored avenues to strengthen their historical and strategic ties, particularly in economic, investment, and cultural fields, as well as renewable energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and other areas that align with both nations’ vision for development and prosperity.

The Emirati president hosted a lunch in honor of the French president and his accompanying delegation.

President Macron arrived in the UAE earlier today, where he was welcomed at the presidential airport in Abu Dhabi by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, along with several senior officials.
