Fouad Belqadi Awarded the Merit Prize on International Human Rights Day at the Court of Appeals in Marrakech

The Court of Appeals in Marrakech hosted a distinguished official ceremony to distribute the Merit Awards for 2025, commemorating the 77th anniversary of International Human Rights Day. The event celebrated the judicial and security frameworks that demonstrated exceptional professional performance within the jurisdiction of the court.

In a moment described as symbolic and filled with recognition, Fouad Belqadi, head of the local judicial police at the El Attaouia Police Station, was awarded the Merit Prize in appreciation of his professional competence and commitment to enhancing security and combating various forms of crime, in addition to his ongoing support for the work of the public prosecution through clear and impactful field results.

The ceremony, attended by prominent judicial and security figures, gained added significance with the presence of the Marrakech Security Chief, Mr. Mohammed Amshichou, whose attendance provided substantial moral support to the security personnel and sent a clear message about the importance of recognizing competence within the strategy of the General Directorate of National Security.

In his speech on the occasion, the Attorney General at the Court of Appeals in Marrakech praised the ongoing efforts of the men and women of national security within the jurisdiction, emphasizing that such initiatives aim to foster a culture of recognition and encourage talents to contribute more diligently and responsibly.

For his part, the celebrated Fouad Belqadi expressed his pride in receiving the award, affirming that it serves as a strong incentive to continue fieldwork with seriousness and high professionalism, serving citizens and safeguarding local security, which remains a shared responsibility requiring vigilance and dedication.
