FIFA Unveils 2026 World Cup Match Schedule Following Final Draw

FIFA is set to reveal the updated match schedule for the 2026 World Cup™ during a global live broadcast on Saturday, December 6, at 12:00 PM ET (6:00 PM CET) from Washington, D.C. This event comes approximately 24 hours after the announcement of 12 unprecedented groups of four teams during the long-awaited final draw.

The schedule will be unveiled by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who will be joined on stage by FIFA legends, while representatives from all 42 qualified teams, along with those still competing for qualification, will be present. This event is one of the highlights on the road to the 2026 World Cup, featuring expert analyses and insights on the matches, decoding key scenarios, and providing information about the stadiums that will host the tournament in June and July of next year.

During the live broadcast, the venues and kickoff times for all 104 matches will be confirmed. The event will be streamed live across FIFA platforms, including FIFA.com and FIFA’s YouTube channel, ensuring that fans worldwide can follow the announcements in real time. Additionally, a live broadcast will be made available for media outlets around the globe.

The distribution of matches following the draw aims to provide the best possible conditions for all teams and fans, enabling supporters worldwide to follow their teams live across different time zones. The final version of the match schedule will be available in March, following the conclusion of the European playoff matches and final qualifying tournaments to determine the last six spots.
