Dacia Morocco Strengthens Its Leadership in the SUV Segment with the “Duster” and “Bigster” for 2025
Dacia Morocco revealed on Thursday during a press conference that it is reinforcing its presence in the SUV market for 2025, confirming its leadership in the national market through the models Duster and Bigster, which embody the brand’s philosophy of offering the best value for price.
Company officials noted that 2025 marked a significant milestone for the third generation of the Duster, which has topped the sales of SUVs in Morocco since its launch in February, selling over 7,000 units. Dacia attributed this success to its modern design and advanced technological features, as well as the variety of engines available, making the vehicle popular among different customer segments.
Internationally, the Duster has continued to earn awards and recognition, having received over 30 awards since its launch in 2024 across various markets, lauded for its balance of performance, design, and competitive pricing, establishing it as a key reference in the SUV category.
In line with its expansion plans, Dacia Morocco announced its entry into the C-SUV segment with the launch of the Bigster, first presented in May 2025. It was emphasized that this model combines simplicity, durability, and practicality, catering to customers looking for robust family vehicles with the best price-to-performance ratio.
For the first time, the Bigster is equipped with a HYBRID 155 engine, providing advanced technology and electric efficiency without compromising driving comfort or vehicle capacity. This model has garnered several European awards and is shortlisted for the “Car of the Year 2026” alongside just six other models.
On the national front, Dacia Morocco confirmed that it continued to lead vehicle sales in 2025, thanks to a diverse and modern lineup that meets the requirements of the Moroccan market. The Duster and Bigster are available with diesel engines, as well as gasoline engines and automatic transmission in the Duster, alongside a 155-horsepower hybrid engine in the Bigster, reinforcing the brand’s position across various market categories.
