Sales of cement in Morocco surpass 13.7 million tons by the end of November, with an increase of over 10 percent
The Ministry of National Planning, Urbanism, Housing, and City Policy has reported that cement sales in Morocco exceeded 13.71 million tons by the end of November 2025, marking an increase of 10.63 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
In its monthly report on cement sales development, the ministry indicated that sales across categories increased significantly, with distribution sales exceeding 7.46 million tons, followed by ready-mix concrete at over 3.48 million tons, precast concrete at more than 1.4 million tons, construction at 397,051 tons, infrastructure at 905,151 tons, and mortar at 60,899 tons.
In November 2025 alone, sales surpassed 1.34 million tons, representing a yearly increase of 4.88 percent.
The ministry clarified that these statistics are based on internal data from members of the professional association of cement companies, including the companies “Cement Temara,” “Ciment de l’Atlas,” “Ciment du Maroc,” “LafargeHolcim Maroc,” and “Novacem,” which joined in January 2024.
