Agadir is hosting the main meeting to prepare for the “African Lion 2026” exercise, with broad international participation.
The meeting is taking place at the Southern Region Command Headquarters in Agadir from December 8 to 12, featuring military teams and representatives from several countries, primarily Morocco and the United States.

Available data indicates that the “African Lion” exercise will be conducted between April 20 and May 8, 2026, at sites in Agadir, Tan-Tan, Taroudant, Kenitra, and Beni Mellal.
