The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the National Office of Railways have signed an official agreement just 11 days before the start of the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, aimed at providing ideal travel conditions for fans coming from both within Morocco and abroad.

The agreement designates the National Office of Railways as the “official sponsor” of this continental event, affirming its commitment to support one of the most significant sporting events in Africa. In this context, the Office will implement a special train schedule for the duration of the tournament, enhancing capacity for passengers during peak times.

Additionally, the Office will announce special offers and travel packages for fans wishing to attend matches across the host cities, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.

The signing ceremony was attended by Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and Vice President of CAF, alongside the Confederation’s Secretary General, Véron Mosengo-Omba.

As the leading player in railway transport in Morocco, the Office will leverage its expertise and national network to guarantee fast, safe, and comfortable travel for millions of fans, thereby facilitating transportation between the host cities and creating a comprehensive experience for the tournament.

This partnership embodies the National Office of Railways’ commitment to connecting regions and bringing citizens closer together, with a special focus on sustainability and social inclusion.

Moreover, this initiative aligns with the royal vision of King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, aimed at promoting sports, strengthening African unity, and empowering ambitious youth for the future.

This step represents a crucial milestone in preparing for an exceptional edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, considering accessibility and sustainability standards, while enhancing the visibility and development of African football for the benefit of fans and local communities.
