Two New Agreements to Enhance Innovation and Support Industrial Transformation within Maroc PME Initiatives

On the occasion of the third edition of the National Industry Day held in Rabat, the Maroc PME agency announced the signing of two strategic agreements aimed at solidifying its role as the executive arm of the national industrial policy and a key partner in Morocco’s economic transformation.

The agency’s Director General, Anouar Al-Alaoui Ismaili, confirmed that these agreements aim to bolster Maroc PME’s position as a “catalyst for competitiveness and innovation” in support of Moroccan small and medium-sized enterprises.

The first agreement pertains to the Innovation Support Fund, which has been extended for an additional three years until 2030, with an annual budget of 300 million dirhams. This fund aims to support emerging and small enterprises with high technological potential, expanding its scope to include the electronic gaming industry as a promising sector, allocated an annual budget of 50 million dirhams.

The second agreement concerns the support of the MTA (Machine Tooling Automation) cluster, specialized in the development of manufacturing automation technologies. Maroc PME will contribute 2 million dirhams in funding to support innovative projects and enhance the technical capabilities of the companies involved.

Through these initiatives, Maroc PME reaffirms its commitment to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and enhancing their innovation and competitiveness, contributing to the resilience of the national industrial fabric and adapting to contemporary technological transformations.
