Students from schools in Kenitra organized a green march in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Green March.

The procession started from various neighborhoods, including Al-Sakaniyah, Al-Wafa, Mimouza, and Ouled Ouja, with participation from students of both public and private schools, alongside educational staff. Participants carried national flags and copies of the Quran, forming groups that paraded through the streets and alleys of the city and nearby rural areas, creating a lively celebratory atmosphere.

The participation also included urban and rural communities from the Kenitra region, where residents joined the students in expressing their joy for this significant national anniversary.

This celebration is part of a series of artistic and cultural activities taking place in various Moroccan cities to commemorate the Green March, which was launched on November 6, 1975. It remains a national epic in Moroccan memory, symbolizing the unity of the people with their leadership and reflecting a steadfast national will to reclaim the Sahara in a peaceful and civil manner.
