Sidi Tibi – The municipality of Sidi Tibi hosted a comprehensive consultative meeting today to prepare the new generation of integrated local development programs. The event was attended by Kenitra provincial governor Abdelhamid Mazid, municipality president Said Harouzi, representatives from external services and elected bodies, as well as several community and economic stakeholders.
The meeting provided a space for discussion and the exchange of views on improving local development by identifying clear priorities in the areas of health, education, employment, water, infrastructure, and basic services. This aims to create a participatory vision that aligns with the needs and aspirations of the local population.
In his speech on the occasion, the provincial governor emphasized that the preparation of these new programs should be conducted in a collective spirit that is open to all stakeholders, ensuring that they translate into practical, implementable projects that consider the specificities of Sidi Tibi and guarantee balance among various vital sectors.
For his part, municipality president Said Harouzi asserted that this meeting is part of a participatory approach aimed at involving residents and their representatives in shaping the future of local development. He highlighted that the municipality seeks to enhance its infrastructure and improve service quality in line with the royal directives aimed at establishing spatial and social justice.
The meeting witnessed extensive interaction from attendees, who presented a range of practical proposals focused on supporting job initiatives for youth, developing infrastructure, and enhancing social services, all contributing to making Sidi Tibi a more attractive and sustainable space for development.
