Qalat al-Sraghna: The Provincial Governor Presides Over the Fourth Phase of New Generation Consultations in the Ahil al-Ghaba District
In the context of the consultative dynamics taking place in the Qalat al-Sraghna Province, Mr. Samir el-Yazidi, the Provincial Governor, chaired the fourth session of consultations concerning the new generation of integrated territorial development programs, held this morning in the Ahil al-Ghaba District.
The meeting was attended by the regional secretary, Mr. Mohamed Lahbib, along with heads of external services, representatives of local communities within the district, several elected officials, and civil society figures.
In his opening remarks, the governor emphasized that these meetings are part of the implementation of the King’s high directives aimed at establishing development strategies focused on listening, proximity, and participatory planning, to ensure spatial justice and address the actual needs of the population.
The gathering featured interventions that touched upon the pressing expectations of the concerned communities, especially regarding infrastructure, health, education, connectivity, water, and employment. Elected representatives and civil society members expressed a strong desire to contribute to the success of this important participatory initiative.
This phase reaffirms the mutual desire to establish a territorial development model that considers local realities and enhances the capacities of communities to provide better services within an integrated and comprehensive developmental vision.
