The Lalla Takerkoust municipality hosted the National Mountain Biking Championships (Cross-Country/Marathon), organized by the Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation, featuring broad participation from leading clubs and competitors from across the country.

The event witnessed the emergence of rising star Salma El Hariri, a member of the Majd Serghini Cycling Club, who rightfully earned the national title after a powerful performance on one of the most technically challenging courses, renowned for its sharp turns and rugged descents.

El Hariri delivered a comprehensive athletic display, showcasing high physical readiness and a keen understanding of the race’s details, which enabled her to maintain a steady rhythm and take the lead despite fierce competition.

This achievement underscores that determination, hard work, and well-structured coaching within the club can transform talent into a champion capable of making a difference. Salma El Hariri is now regarded as one of the most promising faces in national cycling.
