A parliamentary representative from the National Rally of Independents in the Fes-Meknes region delivered a speech during the “Path of Achievements” forum held in the Tissa municipality. In his address, he conveyed clear political messages, asserting that the National Rally of Independents is “determined to maintain its lead in the 2026 elections.” He explained that this ambition is based on two main reasons: first, pride in what he described as “tangible achievements” made by the government led by Aziz Akhannouch, and second, the “comprehensive mobilization” undertaken by local organizations to maintain the party’s strength throughout the region.
Khalil noted that the Fes-Meknes region “has witnessed numerous projects accomplished away from exploitation and slogans,” considering the Prime Minister’s management style as having “given new meaning to politics based on efficiency and results.” In contrast, he criticized certain segments of the opposition that “prefer to engage in battles on social media instead of confronting realities on the ground,” adding that “populist theatrics,” in his words, would not affect the party’s presence, either nationally or regionally.
In his speech, the parliamentarian emphasized that “Akhannouch’s government achieved in one year what the previous government was unable to accomplish in ten years,” highlighting that this assessment reflects “the confidence of the party’s parliamentarians in the government’s work and the program it follows.” He confirmed that parliamentarians “will continue to support national leadership and contribute to the execution of this path.”
Khalil concluded by pointing out the increasing interest of youth in the party, stating that a group of students from Taza contacted him to establish a student organization within the party, after they “found in the party and its president a space that expresses their aspirations and gives them confidence in the future.”
