Oman Prepares to Celebrate Its National Day with a Military Parade Symbolizing the Busaid State
The Sultanate of Oman will celebrate its National Day on November 20, coinciding with the 281st anniversary of the establishment of the Busaid state. This occasion evokes the country’s journey in building a modern state and reaffirms its commitment to continue a comprehensive renaissance under the leadership of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
Intensive preparations are underway in the Sultanate to organize a military parade, which will be the highlight of the official celebrations and embody the values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland. Symbolic formations from various military and security agencies will participate in this parade, including the Royal Oman Army, the Air Force, the Navy, the Sultan’s Guard, the Royal Oman Police, as well as units from the Royal Court Affairs.
The program will also feature performances by national teams and the Royal Cavalry, alongside military musical segments presented by joint and mounted bands, capturing a significant celebratory moment while reflecting the cohesion of the Omani military institution and its role in reinforcing stability. Amidst this atmosphere, the Sultanate is gearing up to commemorate its National Day, combining the symbolism of history with aspirations for the future.
