The Poste du Maroc announced the issuance of a special stamp and a set of stamps to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the glorious Green March. These releases were unveiled on November 4, 2025, at the postal museum in Rabat, in the presence of officials and the general public.

This stamp and its accompanying set honor this significant historical milestone in the nation’s journey, embodying the national commitment to the unity of the homeland and the development of the southern regions.

The releases utilized techniques that combine engraving and hot gold, showcasing various visual elements such as an image of King Mohammed VI during his visit to the southern regions, a map of the kingdom, and scenes of participants in the march carrying the national flag, alongside developmental projects such as the wind energy station in Tarfaya and the Noor Ouarzazate solar complex.

In conjunction with these releases, the Poste du Maroc organized an exhibition titled “The Green March: Memory and Development through Stamps,” highlighting the major milestones and achievements witnessed in the southern regions of the kingdom.

This initiative is part of Poste du Maroc’s ongoing efforts to enhance national heritage and collective memory through the art of philately.
