The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdelatif Hammouchi, welcomed today in his office in Rabat, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom, You Jinsong.
This visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen security cooperation between Morocco and China, as well as to discuss ways to coordinate joint efforts to face various security challenges of mutual interest.
During this meeting, the Chinese Ambassador praised the level of partnership and coordination with the National Security Directorate, commending the ongoing support provided by Moroccan security agencies in the areas of expertise and information exchange. She also reiterated her country’s readiness to develop this cooperation, particularly concerning the issues on the agenda of the 93rd General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization, Interpol, which will be hosted in Marrakech from November 24 to 27.
According to informed sources, this meeting reflects the commitment of the National Security Directorate and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance to solidify bilateral and regional security partnerships, contributing to the enhancement of collective security and international cooperation in addressing cross-border threats.
