China: Car Exports Rise by 15.7%

China’s automobile exports increased by 15.7% year-on-year in the first ten months of this year, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

During this period, the country exported more than 5.6 million vehicles.

The same source added that approximately 2.01 million new energy vehicles were exported, representing an annual increase of 90.4%.

In October alone, China’s automobile exports rose by 22.9% compared to the same period last year, with exports of new energy vehicles nearly doubling (99.9%).
