Arrest of Drug Supplier for Two Students in Sidi Benour
Authorities from the judicial police in Sidi Benour arrested a suspect involved in drug trafficking in the Douar Al-Fayd area on Sunday afternoon, November 16. This action comes as part of the investigation into the recent arrest of two underage students found in possession of cannabis near a secondary school.
The suspect’s name emerged during initial investigations with the students, revealing him to be their main supplier. The police were able to locate him and proceeded with the arrest in the mentioned area.
During the search executed at the suspect’s residence, officials uncovered quantities of cannabis plants and shredded tobacco, in addition to over ten liters of homemade alcohol intended for distribution. These items were confiscated to assist in the ongoing investigation.
The judicial police continue their inquiries under the supervision of the relevant public prosecutor’s office to uncover other potential individuals involved in this criminal activity and to identify all connections linked to this network.
