African Music Stars Light Up the CAF Awards 2025 in Rabat
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a distinguished artistic program for the CAF Awards 2025, set to take place on Wednesday, November 19, at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat, starting at 19:00 local time / 18:00 GMT.
The celebration will feature three of Africa’s top artists from diverse generations and musical styles: Douaa Lahioui, Awilo Longomba, and Fuse ODG, showcasing the continent’s creativity and cultural diversity on the biggest stage in African football.
Douaa Lahioui, one of Morocco’s rising voices, represents a new generation confidently carrying the colors of the kingdom. Her artistic blend combines Moroccan influences with contemporary pop and global sounds. Known for her distinctive vocal range and sophisticated artistic identity, Lahioui’s presence at the CAF Awards 2025 symbolizes the cultural renewal of Morocco.
Following her performance, the legendary Afrobeats artist Awilo Longomba, a star of Congolese soukous, will take the stage. His songs have gained widespread fame across Africa, making Longomba a symbol of Congolese music within the continental cultural heritage. His performances are a vibrant mix of rhythm, dance, and theatrical flair, promising audiences an experience filled with energy and excitement.
The show will conclude with a performance by Fuse ODG, a contemporary Afrobeats star actively engaged on the international scene and a MOBO Award winner.
