New Chinese Investment in Morocco for Electronic Materials Production in Nador
On November 7, 2025, the Chinese group Boway Alloy announced a strategic investment in Morocco to establish a production base for electronic materials made from special alloys.
The group indicated that the project will attract $150 million, including the establishment of a factory in Nador with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of alloy-based chips.
The products of this factory will primarily target the American and European markets, reflecting the export-oriented nature of this investment.
The choice of Morocco for this project is attributed to its strategic geographic location, trade agreements with several economic regions, and its growing appeal in high value-added sectors.
Boway Alloy’s project falls within the dynamic of modern industries in the kingdom, which has seen the entry of international investors in the fields of electronics, automotive, and renewable energy. The factory is expected to contribute to job creation, enhance the regional industrial fabric, and boost Morocco’s exports to international markets.
