Wahbi: Our Victory in the U-20 World Cup is a Celebration of Hard Work and Gratitude to King Mohammed VI

The coach of the Moroccan U-20 national team, Mohammed Wahbi, expressed his immense joy at Morocco’s victory in the U-20 World Cup after defeating Argentina in the final match.

In a statement following the game, Wahbi dedicated this achievement to King Mohammed VI, recognizing his continuous support for national sports and his attention to youth.

He emphasized that the win was the result of significant collective effort from all components of Moroccan football, directing his gratitude to Moroccan fans for their unwavering support. He added that this victory is a product of hard work and an indescribable joy.

The final match took place at the National Julio Martínez Prádanos Stadium in the capital, Santiago, where Yasser Zebiri opened the scoring in the 13th minute and added a second goal in the 29th minute, securing a 2-0 victory.

The Moroccan team reached the final after a tough match against France that ended in a draw at both regular and extra time, before Morocco clinched the win through penalties.
