Tiflet: 9,300 Narcotic Pills Seized and Arrest of Suspect Involved in Drug Trafficking
The police in the regional security commission in Tiflet, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, successfully seized 9,300 narcotic pills and arrested an individual suspected of being involved in drug trafficking.
The suspect was apprehended at a traffic control point at the entrance of the city, immediately after arriving on a bus from one of the northern cities of the kingdom. The search operation resulted in the discovery of 4,950 narcotic pills of various types within his belongings.
Following a raid on his home in Khmissat, security services seized an additional 4,350 medical narcotic pills, along with a sum of money suspected to be proceeds from this criminal activity.
The detained individual is currently subject to judicial investigation under the supervision of the relevant public prosecution, aimed at uncovering all potential accomplices and identifying the networks associated with this criminal operation.
