The new edition of the Rhamna Festival celebrates the memory of the land and the charm of the place
The Rhamna region is preparing to host the ninth edition of the Rhamna Cultural and Tourism Heritage Festival from October 17 to 19. This edition aims to highlight the natural and cultural richness of the area under the theme: “Rhamna… Memory of the Land and Charm of the Place.”
This event is organized by the Shola Association for Culture and Media in Rhamna, in cooperation with the local authority and supported by the Marrakech-Safi Regional Council and the provincial council, along with the municipalities of Sidi Abdallah and Mahra. The goal is to establish the festival as an annual event to promote the tourism and developmental potential of the region.
The program of the festival features exploratory trips to unique natural sites such as the Al-Masjun Dam Lake, the Jbilat Mountains, and the banks of the Oum Rabia River, in addition to field visits to scientific and development projects in the city of Ben Guerir.
The activities will also include roundtable discussions with university professors and experts in tourism and the environment to discuss ways to enhance Rhamna’s heritage and transform it into a lever for local and regional development, through an approach that combines academic knowledge and community vision.
