Morocco’s national team secured a late victory against Bahrain with a goal in the dying minutes of the match, held on Thursday evening at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, as part of their preparations for upcoming challenges.
Jawad El Yamq scored the winning goal in the 90+4 minute with a beautiful header, after a goalless match that saw both teams create several opportunities, including a shot from Brahim Diaz in the 11th minute and a header from Abde that hit the crossbar in the 36th minute.
Coach Walid Regragui made several substitutions in the second half, bringing in En-Nesyri, Ben Taleb, Igahman, and Tergalin, in search of offensive balance, before the “Atlas Lions” managed to snatch victory in the closing moments.
