Mohamed Salah Tamek, the Inspector General of Prison Administration and Reintegration, was a guest at the “Diplomatic Forum” organized by the Diplomatic Institute. This event took place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the National Training Center affiliated with the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration in Tiflet.
The meeting served as an opportunity to showcase the key achievements of the delegation in managing correctional facilities and preparing inmates for reintegration after their release. Additionally, discussions revolved around the implementation of alternative sentencing laws and the delegation’s responsibility for monitoring its practical application.
The forum also allowed representatives from various diplomatic missions to ask questions about the Moroccan prison sector and explore avenues for cooperation with their countries in this field.
At the end of the meeting, the diplomatic delegation visited different facilities at the National Training Center to learn about Morocco’s prison training experience and toured Tiflet Local Prison 2 to observe the operations and procedures within the institution.
