The Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced trading today, Friday, with a negative performance, as its main index “MAZI” declined by 0.04 percent, settling at 19,539.07 points.
In contrast, the “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, recorded a growth of 0.03 percent to reach 1,599.57 points, while the MASI.ESG index, representing companies with the best ratings, remained nearly stable, dropping 0.01 percent to 1,317.29 points.
Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the stock exchange, progressed by 0.12 percent to 1,919.15 points.
