In this context, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, praised the “Lions of the Atlas” for winning the FIFA World Cup (Chile 2025), describing this accomplishment as “a well-deserved athletic success that merits all praise and appreciation.”
Aboul Gheit stated in a post on his official X account that this great victory “reflects Morocco’s ability to invest in the talents of its young people,” commending the Moroccan vision that combines the preparation of rising generations with long-term institutional planning in the sports sector.

This victory comes after the Moroccan team defeated its Argentine counterpart with a score of 2-0, with star player Yasser Al-Zubairi scoring both goals in the 12th and 29th minutes during the final match held at the National Stadium “Julio Martinez Pradanos” in the Chilean capital, Santiago.
