Six researchers from the International University of Rabat among the top 2% of scientists in the world

The International University of Rabat continues to shine on the global academic stage, as six of its faculty researchers have been included in the Stanford University ranking for 2025, which identifies them among the top 2% of scientists worldwide.

The distinguished researchers are Asmae Barada, Amin Belhadi, Fouad Saadaoui, Khalid Maqni, Mohammed Bakhouya, and Said Ahzi, representing a diverse range of specializations. This reflects the rich array of expertise and the depth of research fields within the university.

This ranking is based on data from the SCOPUS database and takes into consideration objective indicators including the number of scientific citations, academic impact, publication quality, and the influence of research on the scientific community.

This recognition not only highlights the individual accomplishments of the researchers but also reflects the growing dynamism of Moroccan scientific research and the rise of the International University of Rabat as a pioneering institution dedicated to innovative, responsible, and globally-oriented research.

Among other achievements, the university has received ABET accreditation and obtained the EUR-ACE label, as well as demonstrating a strong presence in international rankings, further solidifying its status as an academic reference on both the national and international levels.
