Rescue of 51 Migrants After Three Days of Suffering Off the Coast of Tan-Tan

Royal Navy rescue units successfully saved 51 irregular migrants, including three women, early this morning, after their boat had been stranded at sea for three days off the coast of Tan-Tan.

The intervention came after local authorities received distress signals from citizens yesterday evening, who reported seeing a boat struggling in the waves. This prompted an immediate deployment of rescue units from the Royal Navy and the Maritime Gendarmerie.

According to field sources, the migrants were in critical health due to dwindling supplies and deteriorating weather conditions, before rescue teams were able to reach them late at night and transport them to the local port for medical assistance and care.
