Kelaa des Sraghna: Two Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges
The police in the regional security department of Kelaa des Sraghna managed, on the morning of Saturday, October 25, in coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, to arrest two individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking.
The first suspect was apprehended at a traffic control checkpoint at the city’s entrance, on a bus coming from one of the northern cities. The search operation resulted in the seizure of 2,040 pills of drugs, including 1,198 pills of Rivotril and 842 pills of Ecstasy, as well as 15 grams of cocaine.
Investigations led to the identification of a second individual suspected of participating in the trafficking, who was subsequently arrested in a security operation in the city center.
Both suspects have been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover the full extent of their criminal activities and to determine all charges against them.
