Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football, expressed his pride in the Moroccan Under-20 national team, which is preparing to face Argentina in the Youth World Cup final in Chile.

In a statement to CAF’s official channel, Motsepe noted that “the Moroccan team has made all of Africa feel proud,” adding that 54 African nations stand behind the Young Atlas Lions in this historic final.

The CAF President confirmed that he would travel to Chile to attend the match from the stands, after watching the African Super Cup final between RS Berkane and Pyramids in Cairo yesterday, emphasizing that his support would be personal for the Moroccan team that represents the entire continent.

The Moroccan team reached the final after an exceptional journey, overcoming major teams such as Spain, Brazil, South Korea, the United States, and France, achieving an unprecedented milestone in the history of Moroccan and African football.
