Partnership Agreement to Enhance Data Exchange between the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Exchange Office, and the National Social Security Fund

On Tuesday, a partnership agreement was signed in Rabat between the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Exchange Office, and the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), aimed at establishing a framework for cooperation and data exchange to support the implementation of public policies related to foreign trade.

The agreement was signed by Omar Hajira, the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Driss Bencheikh, the Director General of the Exchange Office, and Hassan Boubrik, the Director General of the CNSS. The agreement stipulates an organized exchange of information, standardization of data collection and processing methods, as well as the organization of joint training and research programs.

Mr. Hajira confirmed that this cooperation reflects a collective commitment to place data and its analysis at the core of public work, noting that it will provide precise tools for evaluating the implementation of the foreign trade roadmap for the period 2025-2027, identifying areas for improvement, and guiding future decisions on scientific grounds.

The agreement also aims to strengthen the coherence and facilitation of access to statistical data related to foreign trade, which will enable more informed decision-making and support Morocco’s competitiveness in international markets.

For the Exchange Office and the National Social Security Fund, this partnership will enrich their statistical databases and analyze the relationship between export dynamics and job creation, with the goal of enhancing the targeting of accompanying policies for exporters.
