In celebration of the historic achievement of the Moroccan under-20 national team, crowned champions of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Morocco received widespread congratulations from Arab leaders, recognizing the exceptional level reached by the “Atlas Cubs” on the international sports stage.

In this context, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, extended his congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people for this significant victory.

The Sheikh expressed his greetings in a post on the X social media platform, stating: “We congratulate our dear Moroccan people… and we congratulate His Majesty King Mohammed VI… and we congratulate all the youth in the Arab world for the Moroccan youth team’s victory in the U-20 World Cup.”

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum added: “A well-deserved victory… an Arab joy… and a renewed hope that the World Cup will be Arab in the near future, God willing,” referring to the symbolic dimension of the Moroccan achievement that reflects the Arab youth’s ability to compete and excel on the global stage.
