LAM ALIF Group Illuminates Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium with Innovative Techniques and Global Standards

LAM ALIF Group has made its light mark on the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium following its reopening to the public, in a project that reflects over 27 years of expertise in redefining public lighting standards and urban space planning in Morocco.

The group’s teams oversaw all stages of the project, from initial studies and lighting design to engineering, installation, and programming, focusing on high visual performance, energy efficiency, and operational continuity in line with the nature of the stadium as a national strategic facility.

The stadium’s exterior has transformed into a multimedia interactive surface, thanks to an advanced lighting system that employs integrated video technology and Pixel LED units capable of displaying 60 images per second, controllable via a modern media server. This allows for programmable light shows synchronized with match events. The system is complemented by permanent laser beams that interact with the facade displays, enhancing the clarity of the structure and amplifying its visual presence in the city.

Inside the stadium, a sports lighting system complies with FIFA standards, ensuring visual comfort for players and audiences, with high color accuracy on the pitch and in the stands. The unified control system using DMX protocol enables light shows during half-time and ceremonies, aligning with live broadcasting requirements.

Outdoor areas benefit from remote control units that adjust the intensity of each light point individually, guaranteeing operational efficiency while reducing light pollution.

This lighting vision creates a unique sensory experience, where light displays resonate with match events, reflecting critical moments and celebrating the atmosphere. The stadium becomes a vibrant visual beacon, merging fan enthusiasm with high-quality visuals and technical precision in a complete nighttime scene that embodies a sense of belonging and enhances the identity of the place.

For over 27 years, LAM ALIF Group has been a leading player in urban and architectural lighting in Morocco, innovating light solutions that blend performance, aesthetics, and sustainability, contributing to highlighting national landmarks and reimagining the nighttime landscape of Moroccan cities.
