On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the free industrial zone in Kenitra inaugurated the Skylla Morocco factory, attended by the Dutch and Belgian ambassadors alongside numerous officials and industry stakeholders. This project reflects Morocco’s strategy to enhance its capabilities in medical and technological industries while attracting quality foreign investments.

The factory is part of the international Skylla Group’s expansion plan in Africa following its success in Tunisia and Europe. The goal is to transform Morocco into a regional hub for production and innovation, focusing on advanced medical and technological industries.

The factory is designed to high standards of quality and energy efficiency. It will provide direct jobs for Moroccan engineers and technicians and is expected to contribute to the local economy’s growth in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, with actual production set to begin in March 2025.

Spanning a vast area equipped with the latest technologies for producing medical and industrial equipment for local and international markets, the project adheres to both European and Moroccan standards.

The factory’s opening reinforces Kenitra’s rise as an advanced industrial center, benefiting from modern infrastructure, strategic location, and government policies that support clean and innovative investments.
