The Independence Party appreciates the royal speech and calls for a collective mobilization to succeed in the new development model.
The Executive Committee of the Independence Party, led by Secretary General Nizar Baraka, held a meeting on the evening of Friday, October 10, 2025, immediately following the royal speech inaugurating the first session of the fifth legislative year of the eleventh legislative term.
The committee expressed its deep appreciation for the spirit of the royal speech, which emphasized strengthening democratic choice, consolidating the rule of law based on justice and equity, and linking responsibility to accountability.
The party commended the royal approach advocating for the acceleration of development transformation and the launch of a new generation of balanced regional programs, which enshrine spatial justice and reduce social disparities, urging for economic and social development to progress uniformly across all regions of Morocco.
The statement also highlighted the importance of the new governance model called for by His Majesty the King, based on an integrated territorial vision and evaluating public policies based on their direct impact on citizens’ lives, while establishing synergy between major projects and social programs to ensure equitable distribution of wealth.
The Executive Committee viewed the royal priorities concerning the care of mountainous areas and oases, the development of the marine economy, and the upgrading of rural centers as strategic workshops for achieving spatial justice and reinforcing the concept of a social state.
The party concluded by reaffirming its readiness to fully engage in the new dynamics, mobilizing its organizations, facilitating public discourse, and embracing youth and new energies, in support of the paths of democracy, development, and dignity in Morocco.
