Egypt Opens Its Doors to Moroccans with Instant Visa on Arrival

The Egyptian Embassy in Rabat has announced new measures allowing Moroccan citizens to obtain a visa for entry into Egypt directly upon arrival. This initiative aims to simplify travel procedures and enhance tourism between the two nations.

The embassy clarified in an official statement that this measure applies to Moroccans holding a valid residency or previous visa to countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, or any Schengen Area country.

These facilities also extend to Moroccans residing in Gulf Cooperation Council countries, provided they possess valid residency and return permits in their country of residence.

According to the same source, this step is part of the Egyptian authorities’ efforts to broaden the visitor base and develop tourism cooperation with Morocco through more flexible procedures that facilitate travel and support economic and cultural ties between both sides.
