China Appoints Yu Jinsong as New Ambassador to Morocco
President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China has appointed Yu Jinsong as the new ambassador to Morocco, succeeding Li Changlin, according to a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the highest legislative body in the country, as reported by the Chinese news agency Xinhua.
The new diplomatic appointments also included ambassadors to Romania, North Macedonia, Malta, Grenada, and Ecuador, along with the appointment of Yong Jie as Permanent Representative and Ambassador to the World Trade Organization and Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations, replacing Li Chenggang.
This move is part of China’s efforts to strengthen its global diplomatic representation and ensure the continuity of its relationships with international partners.
