Casablanca: Two Arrested, One Minor, for Involvement in Sports Violence and Car Vandalism with a Knive

In a successful security operation, the Casablanca judicial police managed to arrest two individuals, one of whom is a minor, early in the morning on Friday, October 31. They are suspected of being involved in acts of violence and sports-related riots that resulted in property damage, as well as possessing a bladed weapon in circumstances that threaten public safety.

According to the case details, the suspects disrupted traffic on the streets of Casablanca during a match between two local teams, after which one of them vandalized a private vehicle using a knife. This incident was captured in a widely circulated video on social media.

Precise field investigations led to the quick identification and apprehension of the suspects, and a search conducted revealed five tablets of the drug “Rivotril,” a quantity of hashish, a bladed weapon, and a motorcycle suspected to be obtained from criminal activities.

The suspects have been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor, in order to deepen the inquiry and uncover all circumstances surrounding these criminal acts.
