Boxing enthusiasts will gather for the final matches of the Throne Cup at the university boxing hall.
In a press release, the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation announced the organization of the finals for the Throne Cup for both men and women in the 2024-2025 sports season. This event is set for Sunday, October 12, starting at noon.
This sporting celebration will take place at the university boxing hall within the Ibn Mesik Sports Complex in Casablanca, featuring champions from the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Fez-Meknes, Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, the Eastern region, the Southern provinces, Casablanca-Settat, Marrakech-Safi, and Souss-Massa.
It is worth noting that this final follows the completion of the quarter-final and semi-final matches held in September for both male and female regional teams.
The organization of the Throne Cup by the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation aims to instill national values in the youth, reflecting the Moroccan people’s attachment to the illustrious Alaouite throne in its most splendid form.
The general program for this year’s Throne Cup will commence with weigh-ins and medical examinations from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Following this, spectators can look forward to the morning matches starting at noon, while the afternoon session will kick off around 4:00 PM.
This significant event is expected to receive extensive media coverage, with a large audience of boxing enthusiasts anticipated to follow thrilling bouts as regional federations represented by their clubs and associations compete for the coveted Throne Cup title.
