Azerbaijan.. Morocco Appoints Deputy to the President of the Small and Medium Enterprises Network of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
Morocco has officially appointed a deputy to the president of the Small and Medium Enterprises Network (OCI-SMENET) during the launch ceremony held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on October 7 and 8, alongside the second edition of the Azerbaijani Halal Trade Forum.
The “Morocco Enterprises” agency announced that this appointment, alongside Saudi Arabia, recognizes Morocco’s leading role in developing small and medium enterprises within the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Anwar Al-Alawi Ismaili, the Director General of the “Morocco Enterprises” agency, represented the Kingdom at this event, emphasizing Morocco’s commitment to enhancing economic cooperation and solidarity among member states through the exchange of experiences and best practices. He highlighted the importance of strengthening collective capacities and supporting the development of competitive and sustainable enterprises contributing to more inclusive development.
Through this position, Morocco aims to leverage its expertise in various fields, including innovation, marketing, and manufacturing, as well as in strategic sectors such as tourism, green industry, and exports.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Network of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation seeks to enhance economic and institutional cooperation among member states, exchange successful experiences, and create an environment that enables enterprises to be more competitive and sustainable, thereby contributing to shared regional development.
