A reckless driver ran over a traffic police officer in Kenitra and fled the scene.
According to available information, the driver refused to stop after committing a traffic violation in the L’Afilaut area. As the officer approached to request the vehicle’s documents, the driver sped off, hitting him and causing him to fall and sustain injuries.
The injured officer was quickly transported to the emergency department of Zamouri Hospital for necessary treatment, while the local judicial police department launched an investigation under the supervision of the relevant public prosecutor to identify the driver and apprehend him.
