New Wave of Increase in the Casablanca Stock Exchange at the Start of the Week
The Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced the week with an upward trend, as its main index, the MASI, continued its ascent, recording an increase of 0.55% to reach 18,652.44 points, bolstered by strong performances in several listed sectors.
The MASI.20 index, which includes the largest companies by market capitalization, saw a slight rise of 0.54%, settling at 1,510.58 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, which tracks the performance of companies adhering to environmental, social, and governance standards, reported a gain of 0.52%, reaching 1,267.58 points.
In addition, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium enterprises, continued its improvement with a rise of 0.69%, stabilizing at 1,868.41 points, reflecting renewed dynamism in this segment of the market.
