The Royal Moroccan Football Federation, under the presidency of Fouzi Lekjaa, held a ceremonial event on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex to honor the players and staff of the national local team after their victory in the African Nations Championship, which concluded last Saturday in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
During the ceremony, Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa read a congratulatory message sent by King Mohammed VI to the members of the national local team, expressing his pride in their achievement.
The federation president also thanked all players, technical staff, medical staff, and administrative personnel for their significant efforts throughout the continental competition, emphasizing that the Moroccan national team deserved this honor due to the outstanding performance they delivered during the tournament.
